DC Submersible Water Pumps  

DC pumps are more efficient than AC pumps.

With solar modules, these units will automatically pump water while the sun is out. Use a battery with float switch, pressure switch or timer and pump anytime day or night from wells, ponds, cisterns and streams. Use pump controller and mount solar modules on a tracker for more water pumped. Provide water for home and ranch without utility lines and bills. These pumps are also better with slow wells than a large inefficient AC pump cycling often while waiting for well to recover.

Easy to install (about 2 hours) and use. Fits a 2” well or larger.

 
One or two 140 watt solar modules can provide 250 - 1000 gallons per day.

 

Stainless Steel Water Pump. Use as backup pump with existing pump or as primary pump. It has an exceptionally long life because it is constructed from durable materials that resist wear and tear from daily use. Because of this, it costs nearly nothing to maintain. Only 3 very long wearing parts ever need replacing: the piston's double u-cup seals, the pump head's rod seal and the rod guides in the drop pipe. Pump is made completely from lead-free, CNC-machined stainless steel and (non-water contacting) aluminum components. All components are Safe Drinking Water Act compliant. The pump rods are high tensile fiberglass and the drop pipe is Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) schedule 80. An 11” stroke pumps 8 ounces with 1.5” cylinder and 11 ounces with 1.75” cylinder. Only about 13 pounds of force needed for 100’ depth. The average person can pump from 200’ depth. The practical depth limit is 350’ or so because of rod stretch. Model 100 pump is only 1-5/8” diameter and can usually be installed without disrupting existing well pump. Okay to use in freezing climate. Components are precision machined in aerospace-class manufacturing plants. This assures your hand pump will work when you need it. Designed to last at least 50 years. WELL COMPATIBILITY CHART
 Pump will fit in MOST WELLS alongside an already installed submersible or alone. It needs just 1-3/4" diameter clearance. (If using the 100CA cylinder, 1.6" clearance will be enough.) It will also fit in a 2” casing alone. The following chart shows conditions for Simple Pump installation, alongside a submersible -- its most common use.

For Wider Dug Wells E.g. a dug well, three feet wide with a liner and concrete, wood or metal lid. A hole would be drilled in the lid and our adaptor used with appropriate bolts. A well cap is then mounted to the adaptor and the pump installed.

Cistern Pumps     Made in USA - Low Cost - Durable
Surface pump (not submersible)

These hand pumps are made to lift water from up to about 25' using suction. Commonly used for shallow wells, cisterns and holding tanks. Use 1-1/4" inlet suction pipe. Water is easier to pump through large diameter pipe and hoses than smaller ones. Ball valves have less restrictions to flow than other valves. Small diameter garden hose, kinks, longer distances and 90 degree fittings all increase restriction and increase pumping effort. Manual Anti-freezing by raising handle full height to drain pump.
